L-Carnitine L-Tartrate is the stable form of L-Carnitine. It is less-hygroscopic and is stable at ambient conditions. It comes as a white crystalline powder and has a pleasant acidic taste. It is highly soluble in water, but has a rather limited solubility in organic solvents. L-Carnitine L-Tartrate is the ideal form of L-Carnitine for all applications in solid forms, especially for tablets and capsules. It is used in pharmaceutical and food application as dietary supplement, and found as well an application in cosmetics.

Application

L-carnitine tartrate is l-carnitine stability situation, effective component is still l-carnitine, but content only 32%, other 68% is tartaric acid, its function and effect and l-carnitine completely the same, are used for making capsules and tablets. Our country food additive health standard GB2760-1996 stipulates l-carnitine tartrate as food nutrition enhancer, can be applied to chewable tablet, pinocytosis, capsule, dry milk and milk beverage, etc.
