Physical properties
White crystalline powder 99%, and 60% liquid, decompose to benzyl chloride and Tertiary amine when over 135℃, soluble in water, ethanol and butanol, insoluble in ether. Easy to deliquescence.

Use
Used for the determination of platinum, palladium, mercury and gold, used as an emulsifier and inhibitor. Used as a medicine intermediate and phase transfer catalyst, used as emulsifier, cellulose sol.
