Succinic acid CAS 110-15-6 is a dicarboxylic acid with chemical formula (CH2)2(CO2H)2. It is white crystalline powder, with a melting point of 185 -187 ℃; soluble in water, slightly dissolved in ethanol, ether, acetone and glycerine; not dissolved in benzene, carbon sulfide, carbon tetrachloride and oil ether. Succinic acid is precursor to polymers, resins, and solvents, also food and dietary supplement.

Application
