Description
Phenacetin CAS 62-44-2 (or acetophenetidin) is white flaky crystalline powder. Phenacetin is a pain-relieving and fever-reducing drug. Its melting point is 133-136℃, is soluble in water with water solubility of 0.076 g / 100 mL. It is stable and incompatible with strong oxidizing agents, strong acids.
Application
Antipyretic analgesics, used in the treatment of fever have a headache, neuralgia, etc., to relieve pain.
